1.4910 belongs to the group of austenitic stainless steels with nitrogen and boron additions.
The addition of nitrogen and boron increases the high-temperature resistance and creep resistance. It also provides resistance against intergranular corrosion in certain chlorides, salts, and acids (at low concentrations).
