2.4642 / Alloy 690 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy.
It has excellent corrosion resistance in liquid environments and at high temperatures. The chromium content provides it with high corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures in oxidizing acids, salts, and sulfurous environments.
