Grade 2
Ti-Grade 2 ; unalloyed standard oxygenated titanium.
Commercially pure titanium grades exhibit an excellent strength-to-density ratio and good corrosion resistance. They have become the most suitable class for structural applications where weight reduction is necessary and corrosion resistance is important. Additionally, titanium has low thermal stresses due to its low coefficient of thermal expansion compared to metallic materials. It is commonly used in the medical sector due to its biocompatibility.
