The Hiperco® 50 alloy family (Hiperco 50, 50A, 50 HS) is a soft magnetic alloy consisting of 49% cobalt, 2% vanadium, and iron. Hiperco 50 and Hiperco 50HS contain a small amount of niobium for high strength and refinement during heat treatment.
