Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn is a modified version of the Ti-6Al-4V system, which is a high-beta stabilized, alpha-beta dual-phase titanium alloy. Due to the addition of beta-stabilizing elements such as V, Fe, and Cu, this alloy has a higher strength potential compared to Ti6Al4V alloy. However, it may sacrifice some weldability and toughness. It is commonly used in annealed or solution-treated and aged conditions.
