Titanium 6-2-4-2 (6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo) is an alpha-beta titanium alloy with heat treatment capability. It is primarily used in forged parts. The 6-2-4-2 beta forging material offers increased strength, ductility, and a good combination of short-cycle fatigue and fatigue crack resistance.
